Weekend Notes, and a Song. Sort-of.

It’s hard to believe it’s the Monday of a 3-day weekend, that it’s the first part of September, and that it’s only two weeks away from our Grand Canyon Trek. This weekend did not go as planned: date night with Viper on Friday in which we all (his primary and her Top and Viper and I) all went out and did a thing together (with the kids); Saturday hike and farmer’s market with Ad and then him staying over, going into Sunday for a day of doing whatever; then Monday our last long hike before the Trek – 10 miles carrying our max weights in our packs, to test for our own limits before we get out there. Here’s what happened to that plan:

Friday night I was still sick and exhausted, as I had been for three days, with allergies. The fireworks we thought were going to happen got canceled, and it rained out our Plan B as well, which was just as well because just the thought of being outside made me cringe. So V and I stayed in at my house and we crashed early – two date nights in a row where absolutely nothing kinky or sexy happened! LOL Lots of caretaking of Jade happened, though, and that was a super nice thing.

Saturday I was still pretty sick, and having my beloved pup Felix over would have made it worse (I am moderately allergic to him.) So I stayed in for most of the day and Ad stayed at the condo, and we were both sad. But apparently the one time I did go outside was enough to throw me into allergy hell because that night was awful. I was super glad they hadn’t come over.

Sunday I decided to stay inside all day to try to clean the outdoor allergens out of my body, because I knew I was going hiking Monday. So I did, and felt so much better by evening that I invited Ad over to have dinner and work on a puzzle. He (and Felix) slept over and it was lovely!

Today, allergies at bay, A friend and I and the daughter hiked – Adam had to work so he couldn’t go. Six hours and 10 miles later, I was a hurting woman Apparently I had found my limit: 37 lbs. was too much for my back, and the last mile was agony. I was in tears. But at least now we know. We are going to keep my pack at 30 lbs. or less. The rest of this week nothing over 5 miles, and no weight. We’ll see how (if) I recover. Though I am already feeling a bit better (pain meds might be helping.)

But even though the weekend didn’t go as planned, there were some good moments: being asked to do a group poly night was definitely a highlight, as was spending the evening just puzzling and hanging out with Adam. Being loved on and taken care of by Viper was very sweet, and – though it was a brutal hike – my friend Toy and daughter Ana and I had some really good talks while on it. I so value my deepening friendship with her.

Oh! And I sent in my payment to attend a weekend long spanking party in Chicago after we get back from the Canyon, made the commitment/down payment for Ad and I to go with a group to Hedonism in Jamaica in Oct 2020, and confirmed that Toy and I are attending Kinky Kollege together this October! So, in spite of Viper and I being stalled/in limbo in regards to D/s, kink is still alive and well in my world.

And now, though I haven’t managed to share anything kinky with ya’ll, I have to say goodnight. Pain meds and a glass of wine are doing their thing.

Night, ya’ll!

Oh, wait one more thing! Today while hiking I said, “My hips, my back…” and the daughter replied, “Oh my gosh I thought you were going to start singing –”

And I said, “My hips don’t lie?” And she said, “No! Um…you wouldn’t know it, it’s not, uh, it’s too much for you…” Turns out Toy knew it too, but I was still in the dark as they gave each other a “significant” look. (I realized at that moment that for all my daughter knows I am a sex blogger, kinky, poly and write erotica, she really doesn’t know me that well, for which, maybe, I’m grateful.) The song, it turns out is called “My Neck, My Back, Lick It” by a singer called Khia. Here are some of the lyrics:

All you ladies pop yo’ pussy like this
Shake your body, don’t stop, don’t miss
All you ladies pop yo’ pussy like this
Shake your body, don’t stop, don’t miss
Just do it, do it, do it, do it, do it now
Lick it good
Suck this pussy just like you should, right now
Lick it good
Suck this pussy just like you should, my neck, my back
Lick my pussy and my crack
My neck, my back
Lick my pussy and my crack
My neck, my back
Lick my pussy and my crack
My neck, my back
Lick my pussy and my crack
My neck, my back
Lick my pussy and my crack
First you gotta put yo’ neck into it
Ah don’t stop, just do it, do it
Then, you roll your tongue
From the, crack back to the front…
I’m not going to bother with the rest. You get the idea. ;-)
All this by way of joining in with the September song meme happening now, but (dammit) I can’t find the who and where of it in my Twitter timeline! Boo hiss, I promise to find it as soon as I am un-pain-medicated!
