Sinful Sunday

Garden Glass

Sep 1, 2018 | Posted by in Sinful Sunday | 26

Last summer (wow, has it been that long ago?) I went to an exhibit at the Botanical Gardens called “Glass in the Garden.” I may have even written about it here, I can’t quite recall. The exhibit featured glass in the shapes of leaves, trees, flowers and all manner of growing things, placed strategically throughout the Garden, and then lit up at night. It was beautiful, and my pictures don’t do it justice. But I ran across the pictures today as I was searching for inspiration for the Sinful Sunday prompt, “Macro.” They inspired me to try a little garden glass of my own. Of course, my glass isn’t flower shaped. And doesn’t really belong in the garden. But I think it’s kind of pretty anyway. Don’t you?     Check out the rest of the Sunday Sinners getting all macro this Sunday!

Patterns & Light

Alone in San Diego, I saw this beautiful light through the window. I liked the way the pattern in the curtains echoed my curves… Check out who else is being Sinful this Sunday.

col·lab·o·ra·tion kəˌlabəˈrāSH(ə)n noun 1. the action of working with someone to produce or create something. An internet meme is a kind of collaboration. A blogger, a writer, an author, imagines a theme and creates a space where other writer/bloggers can post their own contributions to the theme: Sinful Sunday Wicked Wednesday Masturbation Monday Friday is Boobday February Photofest Kink of the Week Food for Thought Friday All collaborations. As is my own, the Scavenger Hunt. The Scavenger Hunt is a collaboration in more than just being a meme though (at least to me.) The Scavenger Hunt feels like…an heirloom, a legacy. It has been through several “facilitators”…other bloggers that have managed it and then, for one reason or another, had to let it go. I am only the last of these facilitators. I took over the Scavenger Hunt at a particularly sensitive time in my writing life: I had closedRead more …

Weekend at the Lake

I had a marvelous weekend filled with fun, friends, laughter, sun and big beautiful water – and a couple Scavenger Hunts. Because of course. This is one of the images that came out of the weekend. Not suitable for Scavenger Hunt, of course, but I kind of liked it. :-)     To see who else is being sinful this Sunday, kiss the lips below!

“V” Marks the Spot

Jul 29, 2018 | Posted by in Kinky Stuff, Sinful Sunday | 9

It’s been a long time since I bought the “Viper” for V. I believe it might have been at the very, very beginning…maybe when I went to Madison for their kink event? God, that was like October of our first year together. And that was three years ago. We are coming up on another anniversary, Viper and I, although he will still be out of the country with his family when the magic date rolls around. I’m a little disappointed, but priorities, and also it’s mostly a date made up by V anyway. Ad and I have never celebrated an anniversary, in all our 18 or so years together, so obviously it’s not a “thing” for me. Still I like that he chose to mark me well with his “V” before he left. It’s been awhile since he’s ended a scene with the Viper – perhaps because what we’ve beenRead more …

Something I’ve wanted for a long time…

Jul 22, 2018 | Posted by in Kinky Stuff, Sinful Sunday | 10

Saturday night Adam and I attended a friend’s play party, and she made my night (and week, and maybe longer?) by fulfilling something I’ve always wanted to have done to me: she made a needle corset on my back. Earlier in the weekend, something else I wanted and waited for for a long time was discussed…but the outcome was not as positive. In fact it left a pall on V’s and my date night together, which I regret. More discussion will be had, I am sure, but now’s not the time to talk of it. Because Sinful Sunday is all about the image, right? Check out the link below for other Sunday Sinners.

A Different Sunday

Jul 8, 2018 | Posted by in Sinful Sunday | 8

This really was an actual Sunday when this was taken. Shocking, I know. The Sunday after my friend Busty McGee’s wedding in Las Vegas. I know, I know, it was FOREVER ago…I’m just now catching up, okay?? I think it’s kinda…cute, in its salaciousness. Heh. Thank you to my friend Allan for having such a perverted discerning eye. He’s the best! xoxo Click the lips below to to see who else is being sinful and/or salacious!

Triptych – Yellow (Edited: Oops!)

Jun 30, 2018 | Posted by in Everyday Jade, Sinful Sunday | 14

The first Sunday of the month is always a theme for Sinful Sunday. I usually miss it (go figure, right?) and I would have this month too, except that I happened to read Rebel’s oh-so-helpful “meme guide.” I love that thing, I truly do. (It’s at the end of her #SOSS posts.) Anyway. I had a couple things in mind, but then today I had some time to myself to download the pics from our Vegas trip that our friend Allan had taken. This guy is an amazing photographer. After seeing a few of them, I decided I had to do a triptych of some of them. These are in his “yellow” series. At Red Rocks Canyon Park, at sunset.   Edit: Ah hell, I can’t even get this right! It’s “Diptych” not “Triptych”! Oh well…here ya go, because I don’t have the time or patience to do it allRead more …

Every damn day, right? I think I have more “profound” thoughts first thing in the AM, but my morning was spent making breakfast for V, getting a little whacking-at-my-request from him, and then seeing him off while I went outside to work in the yard before it got too hot. That was five hours and four garbage bins full of weeds ago. The backyard looks neater, if not green, because it’s never really had grass growing in it. But we have tiger lilies and I planted hostas, and now I have a raised bed full of vegetables that are actually growing. Like CRAZY. So I’m happy with my day’s labor. If a bit sore. Adam just got here with soaker hoses, a splitter and a timer, too, to automate the watering process. And now we are looking at sod for a small, square piece of the yard. I’m not aRead more …
